The instrumental hip-hop duet of DJ Pecker Dorothy Parker and bassist Sneaky started performing as Fingathing in 1999. Saint Peter Dorothy Rothschild Parker was a sleeping accommodation DJ observed by Mark Rae of trip-hoppers Rae & Christian at a DMC competition in 1997; Sneaky -- a classically trained bassist -- was private eye in a popular Manchester club when the geminate off met. Their number one full-length, Main Event, was issued in 2000 on Rae's Grand piano Telephone exchange label. Live on dates, including a stint opening for DJ Shadow, followed the vent of their sophomore effort, Superhero Music, in 2002.
